Boundless today announces the re-commission of BBC Two Series, Normal for Norfolk.

Normal for Norfolk Series 2 is a 6 x 30’ minute observational documentary series following farmer, bon viveur and English gentleman, Desmond McCarthy.

In the new episodes of this critically acclaimed series we catch up with Desmond after a fruitful year and he has even bigger and better plans for Wiveton Hall.

Although he is property rich, Desmond is still very much cash poor and it’s an ongoing battle to maintain the 15 bedroom manor house and 250 acre estatethat has been home to four generations of MacCarthys.

To keep Wiveton going, Desmond has ambitious schemes to attract more visitors to his picturesque part of the North Norfolk coast, but will he succeed in saving his ancestral pile?

Boundless Managing Director Hannah Wyatt said of the re-commission: “We’re delighted to be throwing open the doors at Wiveton Hall once again, giving viewers a further insight into the lives of Desmond and his team”

Normal for Norfolk is a Boundless production for BBC Two commissioned by Clare Paterson - Commissioning Editor – Documentaries.

Executive Producer is Fiona Caldwell and Producer/Director is Rob Gill.
