“The show that tries and succeeds to make antiques less dusty: Antiques Roadshow meets Deal or No Deal meets Dragons' Den.” Sam Wollaston, The Guardian.
Channel 4 has re-commissioned the hugely popular Four Rooms for a fourth series, ordering 30 brand new episodes from Boundless (part of FremantleMedia UK) .Four Rooms will return to Channel 4 with a host of curious collectables and nerve-wracking deals.
Anita Ranireturns as presenter with eightof Britain’s leading dealers once again prepared to spend their own money if the right item comes through their door. From artefacts and memorabilia to taxidermy, art and antiques, the new series will see members of the public enter the show’s daunting four rooms looking to strategically pit their wits against the dealers to sell a prized possession. Can the sellers hold their nerve and cut a deal that means they will walk away with a potentially vast amount of money or will they cave in and accept the first deal they are offered?
